In Tomodachi Life, it randomly populates these little scenes with your characters for the little news broadcasts. Why it decided to put Lester, the four year old problem child, on a table with a crapton of booze bottles, looking tanked off his digital little butt.... that's beyond me. NINTENDO, WHY YOU DO?
